According to a Nielson report on social media, Americans spend 3 times as much time on social networking sites as they do reading email. Yep, not just that, 70 percent of users shop online.
So, yeah, social is where sales are at.
You just need to make sure you are nailing your social media strategy right because people don’t want to be sold to constantly. They want to be heard, engaged, excited and inspired.
On that note, your Get More Customers challenge for today is to give your social networks a good overhaul.
Spend 10 minutes reviewing:
:: how updated and current is your social media profile information, including cover and profile photos and links
::how often have you been posting,
::how many of your updates are sales updates and,
::on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being highly engaged, how engaged is your community.
