92% of companies who blog multiple times per day have acquired a customer from their blog. {source: Hubspot}
If you haven’t yet acquired a customer, we need to fix this.. stat!
Here’s a super-quick social fix to get you more customers via your business blog:
Create content that your customers want. Not industry professionals. Not your peers or your competitors but people who want to buy from YOU.
Simple.
For example, for one of our lovely “social-ites”, The Push Pack, a pre-packed hospital bag, we created posts that expectant moms and their family members {the target customer} would want and love – hospital bag checklists, baby shower ideas, healthy eating and so on.
SO, here’s what you need to do:
- Review your current business blog posts or have a friend, mentor or coach do this for you.
- As you scan through the posts, ask yourself, “Would my customer love to know about this?”
- If no, you know what you gotta fix.
- Next, brainstorm a list of frequently asked questions that you may have already gotten or that you anticipate related to your product or service. Create blog titles and posts around those questions.
BONUS: Once you have a fair number of frequently asked question-style posts, update your FAQ page with links to those posts and increase the SEO juice and stickiness of your site!!
